Adventures in making a VMware home lab

Goals:

• Fully redundant ESXi hosts (so that I can host a virtual vCenter server and do updates
• Have a decent amount of compute to handle current and future loads
• Room to grow

  • Port based VLANs to handle my virtual router (pfSense) bouncing between multiple physical hosts
